“To see Korn at Pinkpop with Mike Bordin filling in for David Silveria during the Issues tour.”
Context
On June 12, 2000, Korn reaches Megaland in Landgraaf with a change behind the drum kit. A wrist injury had sidelined David Silveria during the Sick and Twisted Tour. Mike Bordin, of Faith No More, takes the seat while the band brings Issues to European stages.
Falling Away From Me opens the show and puts the recent album up front. Jonathan Davis shares the stage with Head, Munky, Fieldy and Bordin. Ball Tongue takes in La Di Da Di; Shoots and Ladders ends with snippets of Justin and Jump. The meeting of metal and hip-hop shows up inside the songs themselves.
After Pinkpop, the schedule continues in the United States, with the KROQ Weenie Roast and Summer Sanitarium dates. The festival recording remains a document of this temporary lineup and is released in full in Pinkpop's official archive in 2025. At the close, 4 U gives way to Blind: the Issues era ends looking back at the first album.
- Shoots and Ladders brings in snippets of Justin and Kris Kross's Jump.
