Context
Three days separate Bruno Valverde's debut with Angra, in Italy, from this Clisson stop. On June 22, 2014, the quintet takes Hellfest's Mainstage 2 with Fabio Lione on vocals and a tour celebrating twenty years of Angels Cry.
Rafael Bittencourt and Kiko Loureiro share the guitars, Felipe Andreoli holds down the bass and Valverde takes the drums. Angels Cry opens the route; Nothing to Say and Waiting Silence widen the selection. Lione leads material from the André Matos and Edu Falaschi eras. At the close, Carry On flows into Nova Era.
After France, the tour moves on to London and runs through the second half of the year, with a final date announced in São Paulo. The Hellfest recording circulates through ARTE Concert and preserves this meeting between celebration and lineup change. The past supplies the songs; the new combination of musicians takes on the job of carrying them.
- Carry On and Nova Era join two Angra eras in the closing medley.
