Xentrix — Bloodstock Open Air 2024

Thirty-five years separate the 1989 debut from this gathering at Catton Park. On August 11, 2024, Xentrix arrives at Bloodstock with a clear plan: to play Shattered Existence in full. The Sophie stage hosts a celebration focused on the first album, without jumping between different eras of the band.

Jay Walsh leads on vocals and rhythm guitar, with Kristian Havard on lead guitar, Chris Shires on bass, and Dennis Gasser on drums. No Compromise opens the set and gets a circle pit moving. Balance of Power and Crimes keep up the pressure; the quartet follows the album's running order through the closing Heaven Cent.

The celebration continues after the festival and reaches Manchester in November for the anniversary tour's final show. The full Bloodstock recording is released in February 2025. It preserves a specific snapshot: nine songs from a British debut, revisited by a lineup bringing together longtime members and musicians from the band's later years.
