Trivium

Trivium formed in Orlando, Florida, in 1999, with Matt Heafy on vocals and guitar. The group gained prominence with 2005's Ascendancy, which cemented its combination of metalcore and thrash metal. The Crusade brought the band closer to thrash, while albums such as In Waves and The Sin and the Sentence marked later phases. Trivium remained active, moving through lineup changes and different approaches across its discography.
