Context
Twenty years after Ascendancy, Trivium takes the Friday headlining slot at Bloodstock without limiting the night to the album's anniversary. At Catton Park on August 8, 2025, the band combines that era with later material and a song released just the day before.
Rain, Pull Harder on the Strings of Your Martyr and Like Light to the Flies lead the way. Robb Flynn joins in for Symptom of the Universe, a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne. III adds another bass to Throes of Perdition. Ihsahn shares vocals on In Waves, and Josh Baines bolsters the guitars on The Deceived.
Bury Me With My Screams makes its live debut before appearing on the EP Struck Dead, which arrives in October. That same month, the band announces Alex Bent's departure. The festival footage reaches the public in February 2026, preserving the drummer in the lineup that navigates this transition between an anniversary and new material.
- Robb Flynn joins the tribute to Ozzy Osbourne on Symptom of the Universe.
- III, Ihsahn and Josh Baines round out the night's guest appearances.
