Meshuggah

Meshuggah formed in Umeå, Sweden, in 1987, starting out in thrash metal before developing polyrhythmic riffs and increasingly technical structures. Destroy Erase Improve (1995) and Chaosphere (1998) marked that transition, while obZen (2008) brought the band to a wider audience. After Koloss and The Violent Sleep of Reason, the group released Immutable in 2022, continuing to explore its signature sound.
