Context
Thirteen years separate Forbidden's two appearances at Bloodstock. On August 10, 2024, the band returns to the main stage at Catton Park after reuniting in 2023. Craig Locicero and Matt Camacho connect this new lineup to the group's early chapters.
Norman Skinner takes the microphone, Chris Kontos takes over on drums, and Daniel Mongrain replaces Steve Smyth on second guitar. Infinite opens up the pits and kicks up dust in front of the stage. The set draws exclusively from Forbidden Evil and Twisted Into Form, leaving the band's later albums untouched.
The delay caused by technical problems takes its toll: the performance ends after seven songs, closing with Through Eyes of Glass. In April 2025, the full recording arrives on the festival's channel. The footage preserves this return to Bloodstock, with a revamped lineup supported by material from the first two albums.
- Daniel Mongrain, of Voivod, shares guitar duties with Craig Locicero.
