“To see Nailbomb's British debut, three decades after Point Blank, in the return led by Max Cavalera.”
Context
Thirty-one years after Point Blank, Nailbomb takes a British stage for the first time. It is August 8, 2025, and the Sophie Lancaster tent is packed. Max Cavalera leads the project's return without Alex Newport, with whom he created its only studio album.
Wasting Away opens the band's set, and the crowd joins in on 24 Hour Bullshit as well. Guerrillas, Blind And Lost and Cockroaches anchor the Point Blank material. Between the guitars and drums, the set makes room for two punk touchstones: Exploitation, by Doom, and Police Truck, by Dead Kennedys.
After Bloodstock, the European route continues to Alcatraz in Belgium. Sick Life closes the British performance, which is released in full in November, with professional footage from the festival and mixing by Tavish Cross. The recording preserves a belated national debut: a project with a short discography finally meets this audience up close.
- Chris Moore and Demir Soyer join the special lineup for this Bloodstock appearance.
