Album featured at the showTime2013A presentation of songs from Time before the album's release.“To follow Rod Stewart's return to his own songs, presented in a club before Time hit the stores.”
Context
After a long run of covers albums, Rod Stewart is preparing Time, once again centered on his own songs. On April 25, 2013, an invitation-only show at the Troubadour previews that return. The club's scale suits a record with more personal subject matter.
Can’t Stop Me Now opens the program, which alternates new songs and familiar ones. Brighton Beach, It’s Over, Finest Woman, She Makes Me Happy and Sexual Religion present the still-unreleased album. The official film selects ten songs from this show.
Time hits the stores in May 2013. The concert remains available on the official channel, as a document of this introduction of the new repertoire. The return to songwriting continues on Another Country, released in 2015.
