Rod Stewart

Rod Stewart came out of London with one of the raspiest and most recognizable voices in rock. He went through the Jeff Beck Group and the Faces before breaking out on his own with Every Picture Tells a Story and Maggie May in 1971.

He moved through glam, the disco of Da Ya Think I'm Sexy?, Unplugged… and Seated and the series of American standards, and was inducted twice into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
