Context
On March 3, 2013, Ontario, California, hosts a stop meant to last beyond the teardown of the stage. Carrie Underwood arrives at the Citizens Business Bank Arena with the tour for Blown Away, her fourth album. It is the singer's first world tour, with stops in Europe and Australia.
Good Girl opens the concert, and Undo It follows close behind. Carrie interweaves Two Black Cadillacs with songs from earlier albums, without turning the night into a full run-through of the album that names the tour. Jesus, Take the Wheel flows into How Great Thou Art; in the encore, I Know You Won't comes before Blown Away.
The performance becomes a DVD in August 2013, with nearly a hundred minutes of concert and behind-the-scenes material. Interviews with Carrie and tour director Raj Kapoor reveal the work behind the production. The film keeps a specific stage of this international expansion: arena country also becomes a show for the screen.
- Jesus, Take the Wheel and How Great Thou Art form a single medley before Cowboy Casanova.
