Context
On October 3, 2019, Panic! At The Disco reaches Rock in Rio's Palco Mundo. The show at the Olympic Park closes the Pray for the Wicked Tour, which began the year before. Brendon Urie shares the stage with Nicole Row, Mike Naran and Dan Pawlovich. The Rio stop wraps up the touring cycle for the sixth album.
Victorious opens the sequence, ahead of (Fuck a) Silver Lining and Don't Threaten Me With a Good Time. The Pray for the Wicked songs sit alongside The Ballad of Mona Lisa, Nine in the Afternoon and I Write Sins Not Tragedies. Bohemian Rhapsody brings Queen to the center of this meeting between different stages of the catalog.
High Hopes closes the show. The broadcast preserves this tour farewell in front of the Brazilian crowd. After Rio, the project's next run of shows would be tied to Viva Las Vengeance. The recording marks the close of a specific era, with its own set and lineup.
