Context
Imagine Dragons makes its Rock in Rio debut on the last night of the 2019 edition. Origins is its most recent studio album, but the set gives plenty of room to Evolve. On October 6, the band takes Parque Olímpico before Muse, bringing radio hits together with lesser-known corners of its catalog.
Believer and It's Time open the performance. Natural, Bad Liar, Birds and Zero bring Origins to the stage. Next to Me appears as an a cappella excerpt, and Bad Liar goes through the piano. Every Breath You Take adds the Police to the set. The design alternates full songs and stripped-down versions, shifting the scale between blocks.
Demons, On Top of the World and Radioactive fill the final stretch. Some songs on the printed setlist are left out of the performance. The festival debut preserves a concrete choice of repertoire, with the recent album sitting alongside earlier material and a cover that opens a pause among the band's own titles.
