Context
On July 13, 2019, Levitate takes over the Marshfield fairgrounds in its first three-day edition. Sublime with Rome arrives at the festival in the year it marks a decade together. Blessings, released in May, gives new material to sit alongside the repertoire inherited from Sublime.
Rome Ramirez takes vocals and guitar, Eric Wilson holds the bass and Carlos Verdugo plays drums. Smoke Two Joints opens the run, which intersperses Wrong Way and Badfish with Blackout, Spiderweb and Light On. Common Kings join in on Garden Grove / Murder, She Wrote, while Scarlet Begonias stretches out through Dance All Night and improvisation.
After Marshfield, the schedule moves on to Asbury Park, keeping Blessings on the road that summer. The performance remains as a recording of the festival stream, with video production by Nevessa Production Woodstock. What I Got, Wicked Heart and Santeria close the stop: the old catalog and the new album share the final minutes.
- Common Kings join in on Garden Grove / Murder, She Wrote.
