Context
On May 24, 1999, Pinkpop's main stage places Skunk Anansie between Robbie Williams and Alanis Morissette. Post Orgasmic Chill had hit stores two months earlier. In Landgraaf, the band presents this third chapter without dropping the songs that opened its path across Europe.
Skin takes the vocals, with Ace on guitar, Cass on bass and Mark Richardson on drums. Charlie Big Potato opens a run of thirteen songs. Secretly, Cheap Honesty and You'll Follow Me Down make room for the new record; Weak, Selling Jesus and Hedonism keep the first two albums inside the show.
A little over a month later, the band closes Sunday at Glastonbury on the Pyramid Stage. The breakup comes in 2001, before the reunion the following decade. Pinkpop's audiovisual record preserves this interval: the third album still recent, the lineup intact and Little Baby Swastikkka closing the show.
