Green Lung — Bloodstock Open Air 2024

In the daylight at Catton Park, Green Lung's world of woods, witches, and ancient stones meets a crowd. It is August 9, 2024, and the quintet returns to Bloodstock after its 2021 appearance. Now, This Heathen Land underpins the move to the Ronnie James Dio Stage.

Tom Templar leads eight songs that bring the weight of doom together with hard rock choruses. The Forest Church opens the way; Old Gods and Let the Devil In connect the current era to earlier albums. Six songs from This Heathen Land dominate the performance, which culminates in One for Sorrow before a sizable crowd.

After Bloodstock, the schedule continues across other European stages and reaches the band's first United States tour, with Castle Rat. The Catton Park performance remains a complete audiovisual record from the festival. Without relying on a DVD, it documents the scale reached by a group that started in small London pubs.
