Green Lung

Formed in South London in 2017, Green Lung turned the imagery of British folk horror into heavy rock with Sabbath-style riffs, organ and occult theatricality. Woodland Rites and Black Harvest established the group in the underground; This Heathen Land expanded the scale without leaving behind forests, rites and myths.

On Necropolitan, released in 2026, the landscape shifts to a gothic, haunted London, keeping the mix of classic heaviness, direct melodies and obsession with the strange side of British culture.

Why listen to Green Lung?

To hear British heavy metal turn folklore, horror and landscape into riffs with a ritual calling.
