Context
On September 13, 2019, El Efecto returns to the tent where it had presented Memórias do Fogo the year before. The night shares the bill with Charanga Talismã. The pairing places the band within a Rio circuit where rock, Brazilian music and street carnival share space.
On stage, Café, O Drama da Humana Manada and Trovoada put the album at the center of the performance. Electric guitars, cavaquinhos, acoustic guitar, percussion and winds make up the lineup announced for the night. Between the songs come Laços Ancestrais and Novos Dias; Carlos e Tereza and O Encontro de Lampião com Eike Batista also run through the set.
The footage stays in the venue's archive and is aired in June 2021, in episode 64 of Circo Voador no Ar. The project supports Espaço Casa Viva in Manguinhos, chosen by the band. The performance also circulates as the memory of a stage and as support for cultural production beyond it.
