Context
On August 11, 2024, the main stage at Catton Park hosts Septicflesh on the Modern Primitive run. Two years after its release, the album still drives the Greeks' schedule. The selection doesn't try to cover the whole career: it concentrates nine songs from four albums of the era that began with Communion.
Seth Siro Anton handles vocals and bass, with Christos Antoniou and Psychon on guitars and Krimh on drums. Portrait of a Headless Man opens the run; Neuromancer, Hierophant and A Desert Throne represent the most recent work. In the home stretch, Communion and Anubis come before Dark Art, which closes the set.
After the summer of festivals, the schedule moves on to a European tour between October and November, again under the Modern Primitive name. The full Bloodstock recording reaches the public in December 2024. What remains is a specific portrait of that run: the touring quartet and a setlist focused on the combination of death metal and symphonic writing.
