Context
Three years after its previous appearance, Septicflesh returns to Graspop on June 18, 2026. The set takes place in the Marquee, with fifty minutes on the schedule. Modern Primitive already had four years on the road, but it stays at the center of the selection, alongside Codex Omega.
Portrait of a Headless Man opens the show, and Neuromancer immediately brings together the two albums that anchor the program. Spiros Antoniou handles vocals and bass, with Christos Antoniou and Psychon on guitars and Krimh on drums. Virtues of the Beast reaches back to Sumerian Daemons; Anubis comes before the close with Dark Art.
Two days later, the band heads to Hellfest in France, continuing its run through the European festivals. In Dessel, the show is part of Graspop's broadcast program on VRT MAX. The recording preserves a slice of nine songs and five albums: the band's trajectory fits into the short space of a festival stage.
- Modern Primitive and Codex Omega take six of the program's nine slots.
