Context
On June 19, 2025, the next album is still months away, but two of its songs already find room at Graspop. Orbit Culture arrive at the Marquee in Dessel after releasing The Tales of War and, just nine days earlier, the single Death Above Life.
Niklas Karlsson takes vocals and guitar alongside Richard Hansson, Fredrik Lennartsson and Christopher Wallerstedt. The Tales of War opens the show; Strangler leads into North Star of Nija and The Shadowing. Descent fills three slots, including the close with Vultures of North, while While We Serve represents the EP The Forgotten.
The next step leads to Death Above Life, released in October by Century Media, and a European tour with Gaerea and Atlas. The full performance gets an official release in January 2026. What remains is a transitional snapshot: the new songs already share the stage with the repertoire that carries the quartet's recent path.
- Death Above Life enters the set nine days after coming out as a single.
