Context
On August 14, 2022, Orbit Culture arrive at Bloodstock for the first time. Nija and the Shaman EP had widened their reach during the pandemic, but now the songs meet real bodies in front of the Sophie Lancaster stage. The Swedish quartet trades isolation for a British festival debut.
Niklas Karlsson takes vocals and guitar, alongside Richard Hansson, Fredrik Lennartsson and Christopher Wallerstedt. Nensha opens the sequence; Strangler and Carvings bring in the Shaman material. On Open Eye, riffs and growls press in. North Star of Nija meets raised fists, before The Shadowing paves the way for Saw.
After Bloodstock, the road extends to the United States with In Flames, still in 2022. Descent arrives the following year and opens another chapter. The full recording preserves a moment before that expansion: seven songs, nearly forty minutes and a first visit to the festival turned into a video document.
