Context
At seven in the evening on August 5, Orbit Culture take the stage on the first day of Leyendas del Rock in Villena. The festival celebrates twenty years, and the Swedish quartet arrives after a stop at Wacken. Death Above Life, released the previous October, supplies half of the show's ten songs.
A large screen and six vertical panels give depth to the stage. Niklas Karlsson opens with Death Above Life, followed by The Storm and The Tales of War. The low-tuned guitars meet Christopher Wallerstedt's drums as the mosh pits start. North Star of Nija and From the Inside link this phase to the earlier repertoire.
Bloodhound is dedicated to the crowd; Hydra and Vultures of North lead the final stretch. In the following days, the route continues to Alcatraz and Bloodstock. The full recording remains available as a document of this festival summer: an hour in which the recent album shares space with songs that already carried the group's path.
- Bloodhound is dedicated to the Villena crowd.
