“To see Sepultura's last show in France, at Hellfest, during the farewell tour.”
Context
On June 19, 2026, Clisson hosts a farewell that still makes room for new music. Celebrating Life Through Death reaches Hellfest with three tracks from the newly released EP The Cloud of Unknowing. Sepultura closes out its story without reducing the stage to a nineties retrospective.
Derrick Green leads the quartet with Andreas Kisser, Paulo Jr. and Greyson Nekrutman. Inner Self clears the way for All Souls Rising, while Attitude and The Place bring different eras closer together. On Kaiowas, the stage widens: Alissa White-Gluz and musicians from Crypta, Kreator and Megadeth join the percussion circle.
Beyond the Dream hands the stage back to the core lineup before the run of Refuse/Resist, Arise, Ratamahatta and Roots Bloody Roots. The tour continues after this last show in France. ARTE's footage keeps this Hellfest farewell in circulation as a festival broadcast, bringing together recent material and songs that span generations of the band.
- Kaiowas brings together Alissa White-Gluz and members of Crypta, Kreator and Megadeth on percussion.
