Context
Two months after the arrival of Aspiral, Epica returns to Clisson for its fifth Hellfest appearance. On June 20, 2025, the six-piece takes Mainstage 02 at 7:30 p.m. That day the stage gathers bands led by women, among them Spiritbox and Within Temptation.
Cross the Divide opens a run of ten songs that reserves four slots for the new album. T.I.M.E., Arcana and Fight to Survive come in among tracks from other phases, without turning the show into a full performance of Aspiral. Simone Simons takes the lead vocals, while Mark Jansen handles guitar and growls.
Cry for the Moon brings back the first album, and Consign to Oblivion closes the hour on stage after Beyond the Matrix. The schedule moves on to Summerside Festival in Switzerland. ARTE Concert's recording gives the set a life beyond Clisson: it preserves Aspiral's run through that European summer's festival circuit.
- Consign to Oblivion closes the show after a run that spans six albums.
