Context
On April 27, 2024, Hartford hosts a stop on Cancer Culture Over North America, a tour co-headlined by Septicflesh and Decapitated. Kataklysm and Allegaeon complete the bill. For the Greeks, the trip also brings to American stages Modern Primitive, released two years earlier and still present in three of the night's songs.
At The Webster, Portrait of a Headless Man opens the setlist after the intro. Spiros Antoniou handles vocals and bass, backed by the guitars of Christos Antoniou and Psychon and Krimh's drums. Neuromancer, Hierophant and A Desert Throne run through the sequence, while Communion and Anubis fill the home stretch before Dark Art.
After Hartford, the route moves on to Brooklyn and Boston, crosses Canada and ends in Los Angeles in May. The show gets a multicamera recording from Evil Eye Productions, shot by Todd and Kristine Gukelberger with post-production by Todd. What remains documented is a ten-song slice of the Modern Primitive run.
