Context
On June 27, 2007, Düsseldorf hosts Genesis's second consecutive night at the LTU-Arena. Turn It On Again marks Phil Collins's return to the group after his 1996 departure. Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford hit the road with him again, joined by Daryl Stuermer and Chester Thompson.
The opening combines Behind the Lines and Duke's End before Turn It On Again. In the Cage flows into the medley of The Cinema Show and Duke's Travels, followed by Afterglow. Further on, Collins and Thompson share the drum duet before Los Endos. The encore ends with The Carpet Crawlers.
The night also reaches the cinema, broadcast live by satellite to European theaters. The tour runs until October, and its recordings find different destinations: Live Over Europe gathers audio from the trip, while When in Rome takes the Rome concert to DVD in 2008. Düsseldorf remains the meeting broadcast in real time.
- Phil Collins and Chester Thompson share the drum duet before Los Endos.
