Context
Three years after the previous tour, Lenny Kravitz is back on the road with a new album and longtime partners. On May 20, 2002, the Pinkpop stop brings that comeback to Landgraaf. Lenny, released the year before, offers recent material to share space with the 1990s hits.
On the Megaland stage, Kravitz sings and plays guitar alongside Craig Ross, with Jack Daley on bass and Cindy Blackman on drums. Bank Robber Man opens the sequence. Dig In and Stillness of Heart present the recent phase; American Woman runs through the set as a cover, and Believe in Me gets an acoustic treatment.
After the European run, the tour moves on to North America, with Pink and Abandoned Pools announced as openers. The Pinkpop recording remains an audiovisual document of this festival leg. Between the return to the road and the journey ahead, Landgraaf holds the meeting of the new album with an already established repertoire.
- Believe in Me gets an acoustic version.
