Context
In May 2001, Train come home with their second album freshly in stores. The Warfield in San Francisco is packed on May 26. Drops of Jupiter widens the band's reach, but the night still brings together the five members of the original lineup.
Pat Monahan takes the vocals in front of Jimmy Stafford, Rob Hotchkiss, Charlie Colin and Scott Underwood. The set brings Meet Virginia alongside songs from the new album, with Respect, Mississippi and She's on Fire. Ramble On opens a passage to Led Zeppelin among the quintet's own songs.
The performance comes out on DVD in February 2002, under the title Midnight Moon and directed by Marc Smerling. Interviews and documentary footage accompany the show on the release. It is the band's first live video: a homecoming before the lineup changes of the years that follow.
