Context
In August 2021, travel restrictions are still reshaping British festivals. Dimmu Borgir had postponed its appearance, and Cradle of Filth takes its slot at Bloodstock. At Catton Park, the band reaches its thirtieth anniversary with Anabelle Iratni newly introduced as its keyboardist and vocalist.
On the Ronnie James Dio Stage, Dani Filth leads eleven songs spanning different eras of the band. Nemesis and Nymphetamine (Fix) revisit the 2000s; Crawling King Chaos makes its live debut and offers a glimpse of the next album. Anabelle shares vocals on Nymphetamine and Her Ghost in the Fog, without relying on elaborate stage production.
In October, Existence Is Futile arrives via Nuclear Blast, with Crawling King Chaos among its tracks. In November, a professional recording of the full performance begins circulating. The show preserves this interval between the arrival of a new member and a new album: a lineup in transition facing three decades of material.
- Anabelle Iratni takes on keyboards and vocals in the lineup celebrating the band's thirtieth anniversary.
