Cradle of Filth

Cradle of Filth formed in Suffolk, England, in 1991, led by vocalist Dani Filth. Their debut album, The Principle of Evil Made Flesh, came out in 1994; Dusk and Her Embrace and Cruelty and the Beast cemented their blend of black metal, symphonic arrangements, and gothic references.

Midian, released in 2000, marked another phase in their career. After frequent lineup changes, the band continued releasing albums, including The Screaming of the Valkyries in 2025.
