Context
On March 13, 2020, Crocus City Hall welcomes Kipelov a few days before the restrictions that halt large events in Russia. The band reaches the close of a symphonic tour that began in 2019. Despite the threat of cancellation, the show goes ahead with a full house.
Valery Kipelov shares the stage with two guitars, bass, drums and the Russkaya Filarmoniya orchestra and choir, conducted by Vadim Kuzminsky. Косово поле swaps electric for acoustic guitars. Потерянный рай does without the lead vocal, while Свет дневной иссяк brings back a piece from the joint work with Sergey Mavrin.
The break from the stage makes room to prepare the release and work on new songs. In September, the concert reaches Kinomax and Karo cinemas and comes out as a two-CD and DVD set on Moroz Records. The recording preserves the close of the symphonic project right before the show routine is interrupted.
- Косово поле gets acoustic guitars, and Потерянный рай puts the orchestra in the foreground.
