Context
Four years after their 2022 visit, Alestorm return to Clisson with another record in the hold. On June 18, 2026, the quintet takes Hellfest's Mainstage 02 during the Octopus Battlequest. The Thunderfist Chronicles, released the year before, gives fresh material to their mix of metal and pirate fantasy.
Keelhauled opens the set, and Killed to Death by Piracy soon introduces the recent batch. Christopher Bowes handles vocals and keytar, joined by Máté Bodor, Gareth Murdock, Peter Alcorn and Elliot Vernon. Banana and The Storm share space with Nancy the Tavern Wench; the run reaches all eight studio albums.
In the home stretch, Drink and Fucked With an Anchor precede Rumpelkombo, which closes the run of fifteen songs. The Sombrero and Co filming circulates through ARTE Concert, announced as available until June 2027. The recording preserves this meeting between the eighth record's campaign and the return to the French festival.
- Fifteen songs span the eight studio albums, with three tracks from the 2025 record.
