Context
The Aero-Vederci Baby! tour reaches Rio in September 2017 with a name that nods to farewell. Aerosmith takes Parque Olímpico after a show in Belo Horizonte and before moving on to São Paulo. The night's set looks at the accumulated catalog, instead of centering the stop on a recent album.
Let the Music Do the Talking opens the show. Love in an Elevator, Cryin' and Livin' on the Edge bring different periods of the band together. Joe Perry takes the vocals on Stop Messin' Round, and Oh Well extends the visit to Fleetwood Mac. Come Together adds the Beatles, while Crazy and I Don't Want to Miss a Thing carry the ballad block.
Dream On and Walk This Way are saved for the encore. The night's coverage notes Steven Tyler improvising with Perry and roaming the runway. The concert keeps the mix of blues, hard rock and ballads the band takes to big stages, with the covers opening space among songs the crowd knows.
