Aerosmith

Aerosmith was born in Boston in 1970 around Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, a pair who turned American blues-rock into a spectacle of excess and survival. Toys in the Attic and Rocks made their name in the 1970s; the comeback with Permanent Vacation and Pump in the late 1980s, and ballads like I Don't Want to Miss a Thing, took the band into a second, bigger era.

Why listen to Aerosmith?
