Context
It is past midnight in Charleville-Mézières when Ultra Vomit take the Zanzibar stage to close the first day of Cabaret Vert. After Body Count, Turnstile and Deftones, the Nantes quartet shifts the night's axis: metal stays at the center, but parody drives the show.
Fetus shares the guitars with Flockos, while Matthieu Bausson and Manard hold down bass and drums. Evier Metal opens the songs, and the fourth album fills most of the run. On Mouss 2 Mass, the reference takes physical form: Mouss, Mass Hysteria's singer and a guest on the studio recording, comes out to sing with the group.
The encore gathers La Puissance du Pouvoir, Kammthaar and A.N.U.S., setting the 2024 record alongside one of the band's best-known titles. The performance circulates through ARTE Concert, directed by Sébastien Lefebvre. The recording preserves this meeting of a festival night, the quartet's humor and a guest who steps right into the parody.
