Context
Two days after Bangers Open Air, Nevermore trades the festival for a packed Carioca Club. On April 28, 2026, Jeff Loomis and Van Williams share the stage with three new members. The comeback demands more than a reunion: there is a new singer facing an audience bound to Warrel Dane.
Berzan Önen leads the singalongs, warms up the crowd's voices and dedicates The Heart Collector to his predecessor. With no opening act, the five-piece works in front of its own logo. Dead Heart in a Dead World supplies six picks, while Next in Line gets its first performance by the renewed lineup.
This Godless Endeavour closes the main set; Narcosynthesis and The River Dragon Has Come settle the encore. After São Paulo, the schedule points toward European festivals. The audience recording preserves this beginning of a rebuild: an old catalog passes through other hands, without erasing the place of the man who wrote its words.
- Next in Line debuts in the renewed lineup's setlist.
- The Heart Collector brings the band's return close to the memory of Warrel Dane.
