Album featured at the showLament2025Avalon, Dark Is This Night and Punk & Pomerol represent the record that closes the trilogy begun with Testimonium.“To see Anne Nurmi back with Lacrimosa at M'era Luna after her leave due to illness in 2025.”
Context
In August 2026, Anne Nurmi's presence on stage carries a recent story of absence and recovery. The singer and keyboardist had stepped away from the tour due to illness in 2025 and returned in May. In Hildesheim, M'era Luna once again hosts the duo that leads Lacrimosa.
On the main stage at the Drispenstedt airfield, Tilo Wolff and Nurmi work through ten songs. Avalon opens the repertoire played, followed by Schakal. Material from Lament also appears in Dark Is This Night and Punk & Pomerol, among pieces from other decades such as Alleine zu zweit and Not Every Pain Hurts.
After Hildesheim, the calendar moves on to orchestral performances in Mexico City and Berlin. The festival stop gains another kind of permanence in the ARTE Concert broadcast, produced by Record Film. The recording preserves this meeting between the Lament phase and Nurmi's return to the stage.
- Rote Sinfonie closes the performance, after three songs from Lament.
