Context
In November 2003, Christina Aguilera arrives at Wembley Arena without sharing top billing with Justin Timberlake. Their joint run on the road had ended in September. Now the international leg of Stripped puts her change of image and musical direction at the center of a show of her own.
Dirrty opens the concert, followed by Get Mine, Get Yours. Aguilera alternates this material with The Voice Within and revisits Genie in a Bottle in an Arabic-inspired remix. The medley Contigo en la Distancia / Falsas Esperanzas makes room for Spanish; Come On Over Baby gets an acoustic version, before Fighter and Beautiful lead the home stretch.
The London shows become a television special, aired by The WB in November 2003, and reach DVD the following year. The edit leaves Make Over out and keeps a selection centered on the Stripped era. The film fixes this transition: the early hits remain, but already share space with another artistic identity.
- Come On Over Baby gets an acoustic treatment, while Contigo en la Distancia and Falsas Esperanzas form a Spanish-language medley.
