Context
On June 9, 2003, Moloko takes Pinkpop's 3FM tent, in Landgraaf. Statues hits the road after the end of the romantic relationship between Róisín Murphy and Mark Brydon. The musical bond continues, and the fourth album puts that separation at the center of the songs.
On stage, Murphy dances and leads a full band, with Eddie Stevens on keyboards. Forever More gets a physical scene: the singer nearly disappears into the musician's organ. Pure Pleasure Seeker gets a new arrangement, while Sing It Back stretches across the final eleven minutes and turns the ending into a long call to dance.
Part of the performance reaches Dutch television through NPS that same day. The tour continues and finds another audiovisual outlet in November, when the Brixton Academy concert is filmed for 11,000 Clicks, released in 2004. Pinkpop captures this last phase on the road before Murphy goes solo.
- Sing It Back closes the performance in an eleven-minute version.
