Context
By June 2000, the small venues of the early Play tour are already behind him. The album, released the year before to modest sales, reaches number one in the UK. On June 12, Moby arrives at Megaland, in Landgraaf, with that change of scale underway.
On stage, Moby switches instruments and fronts a band with Greta Brinkman, Scott Frassetto and DJ Spinbad. Eight tracks from Play run through the show. Between Porcelain and Go, there is room for a brief Enter Sandman jam and the James Bond Theme, which folds in an excerpt of Bring the Noise.
Honey, Feeling So Real and Thousand lead the final run, without limiting the night to the most recent record. Play keeps producing singles after the festival and reaches DVD in 2001, with videos and other material, not this full show. The Pinkpop performance remains an audiovisual record of this move between circuits.
- The James Bond Theme crosses the film theme with an excerpt of Bring the Noise.
