Tour albumAmnesiac2001 · Kid A/Amnesiac Tour (Third Leg)Newly released, Amnesiac shares this phase of the tour with Kid A and appears with Dollars and Cents, I Might Be Wrong and Pyramid Song.“To see Radiohead return to Pinkpop on the same day Amnesiac reached UK stores.”
Context
On June 4, 2001, Amnesiac reaches UK stores while Radiohead takes the Pinkpop stage, in Landgraaf. Five years after its first festival appearance, the five-piece returns with a different horizon. Kid A had moved the band's center toward electronics; the new record extends that exploration.
The National Anthem opens the show, followed by Morning Bell. Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, Ed O'Brien, Colin Greenwood and Philip Selway move across the records without splitting past and present into blocks. Dollars and Cents, I Might Be Wrong and Pyramid Song present Amnesiac among songs that already carried earlier shows.
Later that month, the band heads out on its first full North American tour in three years. In November, I Might Be Wrong: Live Recordings gathers performances from the Kid A and Amnesiac era. The Pinkpop footage preserves another slice of this journey: nineteen songs and a close with How to Disappear Completely.
- How to Disappear Completely closes a four-song encore.
