Context
At 71, Gal Costa arrives at Casa Natura Musical with a request that guides the show: nothing restrained—the direction is rock. The tour had debuted in Salvador in September 2015. Almost two years later, in São Paulo, that approach is captured on June 24, 2017.
Pupillo leads the band from the drums, with Guilherme Monteiro, Fábio Sá and Mauricio Fleury. Gal moves through Sem Medo Nem Esperança, Mal Secreto and Cabelo, whose arrangement she steers toward heavy metal. The scale shifts in Sim, Foi Você: alone on acoustic guitar, she revisits a song Caetano taught her when they first met.
The recording comes out on DVD and double CD later in 2017 and marks Gal's arrival at Biscoito Fino. Joana Mazzucchelli directs the film; Marcus Preto conceives the show. As Gal also continues with Trinca de Ases, this recording preserves an artistic choice: renewing the repertoire without separating discovery from memory.
- Gal performs alone on acoustic guitar in Sim, Foi Você, revisiting a song Caetano taught her.

Trivia
Marcelo Camelo writes Por um Fio especially for Gal; at the time of the recording, the song is still called Pelo Fio.
The heavy metal hand gesture on the cover happens during the introduction to Cabelo and draws the same response from the audience.
Cartão Postal enters the show at director Marcus Preto's suggestion.
