Context
Ninety-two cents buys a ticket to a night that will become Coheed and Cambria's first live release. On August 20, 2004, radio station 92.3 K-Rock brings the band to the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville. The quartet arrives with only two studio albums in its repertoire.
Claudio Sanchez and Travis Stever share guitars, with Michael Todd on bass and Josh Eppard on drums. In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3 opens the ten-song sequence. Delirium Trigger and Time Consumer go back to the debut, while A Favor House Atlantic represents the second album. At the close, Sanchez takes the acoustic version of The Light & the Glass on his own.
In March 2005, the performance gets a DVD release with a CD through Columbia. The package widens the portrait of that phase with music videos, interviews and four songs from the 2004 Skate and Surf Festival. Before the third album, the recording fixes the meeting between the band's first two chapters.
- Claudio Sanchez closes the main show alone, with an acoustic version of The Light & the Glass.
