Context
Two days after starting the European leg of the Infliktour in Spain, Cavalera Conspiracy reaches Landgraaf on June 1, 2008. Max and Igor had already reconnected and shared a stage in 2006. Now the reconciliation has a band of its own and a first album to present.
At Megaland, Max takes vocals and guitar, Igor the drums and Marc Rizzo lead guitar. Johny Chow holds down the bass in place of Joe Duplantier, busy with Gojira. Inflikted opens a thirteen-song sequence that crosses ten tracks from the debut with Sepultura's Refuse/Resist, Attitude and Roots Bloody Roots.
Must Kill closes the show, but the quartet keeps moving through European festivals and then North America. Professional footage of the performance is already circulating in June 2008. In January 2026, the Pinkpop archive releases the full recording, preserving the early days on the road of this new partnership between the brothers.
- Johny Chow takes over the bass at the start of the tour, replacing Joe Duplantier.
