Context
On June 14, 2015, Rise Against reaches Pinkpop's last day with an hour set aside on the bill. The Black Market had come out eleven months earlier, after a break from the routine of the road. In Landgraaf, the quartet is still working that record between European festival dates.
Tim McIlrath, Zach Blair, Joe Principe and Brandon Barnes open with The Great Die-Off and quickly pull in The Good Left Undone and Give It All. The recent album takes two spots in the sequence. Swing Life Away appears near the end, before Dancing for Rain, Ready to Fall and Savior close out the twelve songs.
The stop in the Netherlands falls between England's Download and a show in Oslo three days later. The promotion of The Black Market continues on the road through 2015; Wolves only arrives in 2017. Preserved in the festival's audiovisual archive, the show captures this interval: a recent record carried by songs that already span a decade.
