Context
Four years separate the first attempt from the session at the Yoyo. The Echoes appearance did not happen in 2021; on June 18, 2025, Amyl and the Sniffers finally take the Paris stage. Now the quartet arrives with Cartoon Darkness, their third album, released the previous October.
Amy Taylor handles vocals, with Declan Mehrtens on guitar, Gus Romer on bass and Bryce Wilson on drums. Don't Need a Cunt clears the way for Security. Chewing Gum and Jerkin' set the recent record against Guided by Angels and Hertz, without erasing Balaclava Lover Boogie from the early recordings.
Big Dreams closes the run of sixteen songs. The performance gets a 48-minute recording directed by Antoine Carlier for ARTE, while the program's edition also features Kae Tempest and Fcukers. The postponed session stops being a promise and joins the Echoes audiovisual archive.
