Context
On the last Sunday of Hellfest 2026, the Warzone reaches its close with a band formed in Ipswich in 1975. More than fifty years later, The Adicts keep their visual link to A Clockwork Orange. In Clisson, Monkey turns that identity into theater, with white makeup, a bowler hat and a cape that reflects the lights.
Monkey opens his arms, scatters playing cards and pulls confetti from his hat. Pete Dee and Highko Strom handle the guitars, with Kiki Kabel on bass and Kid Dee on drums. Let's Go opens the run; Joker in the Pack and Chinese Takeaway help put Sound of Music at the center of the night.
After Viva la Revolution, the close passes through You'll Never Walk Alone and Beethoven's Ode to Joy. The performance circulates through ARTE Concert, directed by Adeline Chahin and produced by Sombrero and Co. The recording keeps this meeting of British punk, cabaret costume and the Warzone's closing slot.
