Context
On July 8, 2016, heat accompanies the second day of Resurrection Fest in Viveiro. Protest the Hero reaches the main stage between two stages of Pacific Myth: the six songs had already come out by subscription, but the general release was still to come.
The band opens with Bloodmeat and Sequoia Throne, both from Fortress. Rody Walker takes the vocals, with Luke Hoskin and Tim MacMillar on guitars, Cam McLellan on bass and Mike Ieradi on drums. Nautical and No Stars Over Bethlehem go back to Kezia; Clarity and Yellow Teeth bring Volition to the center of the performance.
Limb From Limb closes the set and returns the show to Fortress, the album with the most songs in the selection. In November, Pacific Myth gets its general release, without any of its tracks having made it into this Viveiro stop. The complete recording preserves another choice: nine songs from the first four albums, instead of a showcase for the new work.
