Context
In August 2016, the band still goes by Eskimo Callboy and has Sebastian Sushi Biesler alongside Kevin Ratajczak. Wacken's Party Stage welcomes the lineup during the Crystals Tour Pt. 2. The set belongs to the era before Nico Sallach, Hypa Hypa and the Electric Callboy name.
Crystals opens the program, and My Own Summer keeps the focus on the 2015 album. We Are the Mess, Hey Mrs. Dramaqueen and Party at the Horror House revisit other moments in the catalog. Muffin Purper-Gurk appears midway through. Cinema, a cover of Benny Benassi, comes in near the end, before Is Anyone Up.
Wacken posts the full show on its channel in January 2018. The recording preserves sixteen songs from this lineup and offers a tour of the early catalog. Part of that set carries over into later eras, but the combination of singers and the Crystals selection belong to this 2016 slice.
